Lots of graphics, so it's in 2 parts.
The top of the switch is in the right place.
The bottom end looks good, plenty of room.
Wiring: This is the hard part in the SPDT -> DPDT conversion. You need to know 4 things:
- The jack input - it's the tip of the input jack. Follow the wires.
- The jack output - it's the tip of the output jack. Follow the wires.
- The effect out. It is the side lug on the 100k pot. The one on the right which doesn't go to
ground.
- The effect in. This is tricky. It's one of two 0.01uF caps in the classic VOX/Crybaby/Coy pedal.
So one of the 0.01uF caps goes to a wire to the existing switch, the other doesn't. This sounds
super easy, but the Rogue input wire goes to the PCB, and a different wire goes to the switch. A
jumper on the PCB connects the two wires. This is for ease of mass production. So draw a
diagram of the old wiring and label the wires before you rip the wiring to pieces.
I did the one with the diagonal wire jumper. The unused lug is for the Millennium Bypass. You
would test that it all works at this point. Don't look at me, I didn't force you to do this.
