The Range switch goes in the left since I wah on the right.
Rotary switch with different caps. See
Geofex Wah Mods. The Foxx Wah Fuzz had this, EH had
one, and now Dunlop. You replace the 0.01uF cap which is attached to a 10k resistor, and wire a
rotary switch for 0.005, 0.01, 0.05, 0.1. Or whatever you like. High values give you lower
frequencies. A 4-way switch seems fine, if you play a twin neck ukulele-bass the 6-way is for you.
Removing the 0.01uF cap gives you two empty holes on the PCB. One empty hole is attached to
all the caps, the other end of each cap goes to a different outer lug of the switch. The
corresponding inner lug is wired to the other empty hole. The switch pops, but if you can reaching
the switch in mid-solo is difficult, you would set it in between songs. A 1M resistor from each outer
lug to the inner lug should reduce popping if that is a problem.
